Pros and cons of ESV Bible+ app for iPhone and iPad

ESV Bible+ app good for

Wonderful to have so many Bible versions at hand, or literally in hand(!) all hours of day & night (given the use some of us give our iPods/iPads/iPhones these days!) It means I always have my Bible with me for when Im stuck in traffic, drop into a coffeeshop for a break, or go for a walk—its even the Bible that now goes with me to church services too.

Yes I can say that this is a great Bible and app to have when you need it. I love the easy read of the ESV. For a modern English version it has good flow and its easy to understand.

I have been reading the ESV Bible for several years. It is an excellent literal translation.

I really like this version. I have read many versions. It talks as I talk! It has become my favorite.

This Bible app is done with excellence and is clearly anointed with the Holy Spirit.

This app is a pleasure to use--its so easy to go to any verse in the Bible. You can highlight with a variety of colors and add notes. It has never glitched or crashed on me. When I use it at church, it probably looks like Im playing on my phone--oh well! You can make an in-app purchase to download your chosen version to be able to use the app offline. Its well worth the money.

Some bad moments

Sometimes when I am reading, all of a sudden it will go back up to the top of the chapter and say it is syncing. Some days it will do this several times while I am trying to read one chapter making it practically unreadable. I lose my spot so many times and each time as soon as I scroll back down to where I was Ill read a couple more words and it will sync again and pop back up to the top making me start over again. It has done this for the past 2 updates. PLEASE fix this, this is the only problem I have with this app, but as it makes it unreadable and unpredictable, its a huge problem!

I am in 2 Bible studies and I find the passage so fast with this app

So far this app has been very good. Very easy to use love the features, especially the todays reading part. Ive added it to my devotion time and its been most helpful. Only complaint is the updated version sometimes doesnt provide a complete book/verse reference and therefore that tab cant be opened.

This app has so many features. Besides reading the Bible, I can share it instantly on FB, etc. I can take notes, which I love to refer back to. The list is more, but you will find out when you get it. A super plus, this app is very user friendly. The developer gets an A+...

I love it soooooooo much. It has both testaments and a daily bible study. If something on the earth were even a little like Jesus it would be this.

My Pastor visited me in the hospital and didnt have a Bible with him. We had ESV downloaded on our phones and everything worked out wonderfully to be able to read Gods Word! This app is the BEST one I have on my phone by far. Thank you ESV...
